where did you find it?
not sure if it is reef safe. Most of the data show that it feeds on sponges, tunicates, bryozoans-sessile inverts.
Coral is sessile, and some are soft....
so, I'm not sure.

Doug ..my rule is when in doubt leave it out, but a star is easy to catch so give it a try and just watch it...
