its the stringy looking guy stuck on the glass.loks like a white hair with a pin head.the pinhead is what holds it on the glass

I replied to that here White Worm-like thing from rock (

1 2) post n? 14, so I think it could be Microprotula cf. ovicellata

its very difficult to define due to the poor quality of the photograph, however from the shape of it and way it looks to be attached to the glass, could be a Microprotula cf. ovicellata (just see the images and drawings), a very tiny serpulid calcareous tube worm, or it could be a Nemertean also known as Ribbon Worm

If in fact it is a nemertean worm, or ribon worm, there is not that much information about it, however, Dr. Ron Shimek is an expert on such animals, and you could ask him in his blog for more information.

the worms that i see seem to follow my scallop.matter of fact i noticed them after i put scallop in my setup.

ah ha i think i know what it is and they are not worms.the scallop has an appendage that it uses to attach to rock work or glass.i think it lets go of the small string like appendage everytime it moves.let me know if this could be the case.

Yes, that is quite likely. It should be a white foot.

well it has a white foot yes but attached to the foot is a hair like string that it seems to attach to glass and rock work.that is what i think its leaving behind it just looks like a worm.
