These pics are just one section of my tank (220). A few months back I bought some live rock from a fellow reefer. One of these rocks is the one with the algae Blenny sittin on it. Couple questions. One, why did this ONE rock start to grow this green moss on it? No other rocks in tank have it, as you can see by the surrounding rocks. It's not hair algae. It's low and carpet like. It looks kind of like moss that grows at the base of a tree. Is it bad? Should I remove the rock and scrub it off or should I maybe move it to my sump in the basement? Do you guys think this is good or bad algae?
