Friend, Foe or Nuisance???

The pase week or so I started seeing these things pop up around the tank...any idea what they might be???

They are white...and quite small (about the size of a pin head). Appearance is either round or spiral shaped.

They seem to be concentrated in the shadows of the tank and the back wall.

Any ideas??

Good to hear...i have been seeing what looked like little feather dusters also.
