Wholesale vendors for dry goods.

I am in the begining process of setting up a homebased business and was looking at establishing accounts with a couple of wholesale distributors or manufacturers. I am looking for distributors which carry a large selection of product and which are located on the west coast. Does anyone have suggestions for companies for me to look into?

Don't know about the West Coast but here on the East side, most of the wholesalers and manufacturers I deal with will only sell to retail bricks n' mortar stores...sorry
