Thanks and a plea

I know I probably annoy an awful lot of the time - what with my combination of curiousity, concern and biting sarcasm - but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who puts up with me and answers some of my inane questions. - And also to those of you out there providing news of current issues surrounding the industry, my "pet interest" as it were.

Also, since the thread was locked before I had a chance to say it openly, I wanted to give a direct thank you to Steve for attempting to answer my general question (without him giving himself carpal tunnel writing a freakin book) detailing what went on at MACNA. -- If it's not too much to ask or too much of a pain for you Steve, would you mind emailing me your powerpoint presentation? - [email protected] - Please and thank you.

As for the 'plea' portion of this post.... - It kinda goes hand in hand with the thanks and why it is I have to start a new thread in order to do so...

PLEASE PEOPLE.. - Listen to the moderators and try to keep the mud-slinging to a minimum. Just slinging insults and accusations does nothing to further your professional image and also serves no greater good for the industry as a whole. - The last damn thing I want to do is sit around a campfire singing Kumbiyah and hugging each other, but whats needed right now is a unified front against those that would stifle this industry with over-regulation and bring it to its knees, not a dagger-fest full of open backs.

And besides.....

Steve's power point presentation is all pictures, the meat of the lecture was what he said to go with the pictures. At some point soon, I'll post them in our websites gallery in a low res format.

A freekin' men. I didn't mean to start a war around here. This is an excellent resource for us in the industry (especially us newbies) to share ideas and concerns. I appreciate what I have learned (altho not all of it has been usefull to my business) and thank everyone for their contribution. I did notice a post that is stickied at the top of this forum entitled "Regarding Personal Attacks and Civility". I read it when I started browsing around here and I think it would do everyone good to re-read it. Just my 2 1/2 cents.
