The three C's are a deal that just can't be beat.
Theres nothing thats happened without Mexican bribes, cash, complicity, compliance and corruption.
The exporter gets off scot -free as the receivers get the boots put to em. Why has the US Fish and Wildlife Service allowed their produce to flow still into the country? Weekly in fact.
Do they not communicate with Mexican fisheries officials? Do they need a translator?
USFWS know who the "shippers" are...why are they still shipping?

Can anyone tell me what happened to, as Steve put it, CRA*@#? A few months ago he was trying to get me to peddle one of the three C's for him, and not the powdered one. Funny how he ws bragging back in February about the huge fish deal he was arranging, then when it all went South flipped his story 180 degrees to make it sound like he was just a victim.

I'm not located in the LA basin, and am too busy to spend much time cruising boards such as this. A friend actually brought this thread to my attention. I was involved in a fledgling business venture with this person, and things started getting wierd so I bailed. Now I'm hearing all sorts of rumors regarding the fate of this person, how corrupt he actualy was, etc....and am just curious what became of him. I've heard everything from he's in jail, to he's skipped the country.

He told me mucho about the Clarion a few months vefore it went down, and mentioned some names that were involved. They were well known names on 104th street. Now, in retrospect, I'm not sure how much he told me was true and how much was BS.

Again, I'm just curious what became of him. I know someone else is running the day/day operation of his company (if it's still his), and the people I know in the trade have not seen him in a while.

That is one of the rumors that I heard, as well as the Gov is now running his company. The grapevine indicates that he may have assumed the idrentity of a 53 yr old Jewish grandmother living in upstate NY.
