Are you addicted to playing with fish and corals like we are? Fish Heads, a Southern California based Marine Wholesaler, is looking for an experienced marine husbandry technician. Qualified indivdual will have a Marine Science degree and/or hands on industry experience exceeding 6 years.

We are also looking for motivated sales reps with a solid comprehension of aquarium husbandry and species identification and basic sales experience. Prior telephone sales experience is a plus.

Perhaps the reason fish heads is hiring is do to an eastward expansion?
I hear through the grape algea vine that there is to be one less retail fish heads in LAX and a new Fish heads in Atl?

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, this is hardly the case.

The gossip grapevine has this all messed up as usual.

Although I have been taking many trips to the East Coast lately, they are mostly for personal reasons as my girlfriend lives in Atlanta. What makes this all so interesting is that there is a new retail store opening in ATL and calling themselves Fish Heads with no relation whatsoever to us out here. I wish they would have picked a more original name as it is causing alot of headache and confusion, such as this gossip, out here for the REAL FISH HEADS (since 1994).

IF, and this is a mighty big IF right now, I were to move to ATL, I'd go work for Bruce at the new GA Aquarium before I'd get into the retail game out there.

Fish Heads is hiring simply because we continue to grow and grow.

A customer told me the other day that there is a new store coming soon in Alpharetta by that name. I haven't heard anything else. Same customer also told me that there is a store opening here in Holly Springs but I don't know anything more of that either. :::shrug:::

Thanks for clearing that up .......My guess is the new Fish heads store in North Atlanta is a re start from two old players in the Atlanta market. {FS&M}

Think? Last time I talked to them, they were pretty over being LFS owners. I suppose they could be missing it though, a few who have "retired" from the biz, just found they couldn't stay away.

I have another idea, but it's just a gut feeling but that ain't it.

Good luck on that one. With 5 million gallons, I'm sure they need a lot of algae scrubbers and filter backwashers.
