    Ok...First question.. What additives do I need to use? I don't think I need all of the additives I'm using. Second question... Should I put in a small REFUGIUM keeping my remora on the main tank? Third question... I have about 2" of crushed coral for a substrate. My LFS said to get rid of it...

    Thanks Andy H. Your not the first I heard say that the boxes were kind of a pain. Maybe I'll just keep trying the papertowel trick for now.

    Thanks all who replied. I tried the trick Laura D advised with the papertowel and it worked great. I have a remora pro but I dont have the overflow box for it.

    Anybody have any tricks on keeping the surface water clear? I have a thin film of skum ont water surface and I'd like to clear it up so my PC's can do a better job of lighting the tank.

    Alveopora has to be it. There are 12 tips on each tenticle. as far a s the "bugs" go I took a beter look this morning and they mor resemble very small red ants but move so fast I can't get a good look at them. Sugar Magnolia said amphipods if they are I hope their good guys.

  9. Help me identify these three pcs.

    I have 3 pcs. that I need identified. They were given to me and I don't know what they are. The first is a hard red coral about 4"x5". The second is a soft bulb type Anemone I think about 3" and it moves all over, mostly under a rock. The third is like grass, I'm guessing som kind of coral but...
