I would not stray from Dustin's dosage of the meds.It has worked great for me I added the supplied amount to a guess of 375 gallons of water 3 times and I have not seen a bug since the first treatment or lost any shrimp.At this time I see no need to change something that works so well.

I have two shrimp(cleaner,fire) both are still doing well.Polyp extension on the acro's is awesome. Still no red bugs.

the bulbs are ushio 10k first the bulb shut down then came on the next day for about 2 hours then arced out at the tip of the bulb now the ballast will not fire any bulb but i can feel the power up

just curious if anyone else has had problems with the 400 watt mh ballast i have now torched my second 10k bulb in 4 weeks (not a heat issue) tank stays cool plenty of air flow just curious if you would go for round 3 or recommend another ballast it took pfo 6 weeks to send my last(correct) bulbs

who is making the new actinic 03 pc bulbs and are they the same pin configuration as the csl bulbs

good advice i guess i will wait it out. i am getting a small amount of cyano and green algae on the surface of the sand and the lower depths of the sand is turning blackish sounds like most of you think this is normal. i guess it can`t all go perfectly smooth when you break down a 2 year old...
