This brings up a question I have: I have a Custom Sealife PC hood that came with 65W 8,800K bulbs. I want to upgrade to 96W 10,000K. Can this be done with the existing ballast?

It's a wise idea to put locks on display tanks. I know some LFS in the Chicago area do that- not only to protect from theft but to keep customer's hands out. The anemone in the pocket trick- wow! That truley is something H. Simpson would do.

Mike, How do you test your RO membrane? I have a Spectrapure and they recommend testing for chlorine. However, the test kit they supply doesn't seem very accurate.

The Peps do work- they love aiptasia. Yes they sometimes pick at my mushrooms but they never caused any permanent damage. I had a bubble algae outbreak in my 55g and manually removed as many as I could without popping them (they can relaese spores and spread when you pop them- so I heard)...

Is this product any good?? I add it to my tank once a week. I have noticed red slime algae on my sand bed since I started using this. I add about 1/8 teaspoon to a 90 gallon tank.

I've noticed in my tank (at night) that most of these critters stay near the sand bed or around the live rock. However, I'm sure some do find there way near the power heads and sucked through. I'm sure this would kill some but in the long run I don't think this will adversly affect the population.
