  1. A few shots with the Nikkor 60 mm lens

Thanks for all the great info Chris. So if you are using the sync cord do you still have to use the onboard flash to trigger the secondary flash? Or do you have both options? $100 for a cord seems pretty steep - but I guess you pay for quality (and Ashton Kutcher for the Nikon commercials!! :).
  2. A few shots with the Nikkor 60 mm lens

Thanks for all the nice comments. Also, thank you to Chris – because if it wasn’t for your great info it would probably have taken me years to produce images like these – not a few weeks!!. Also thank for the info on the wireless speed light commander. That would be really useful because...

Hi All So I thought I would share a few shots that I took yesterday evening with my new Nikkor 60mm Micro lens. If you are interested check out the lens here: http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-60mm-2-8G-M ... 451&sr=8-1 These pictures were taken using the onboard flash (Nikon D200) in combination...
  4. Patience. . .or learning to love the flash

I like this shot too. Quite the action shot and I can imagine how difficult it must have been getting this shot. The picture would have been improved slightly if the subjects head had been illuminated a bit more, because your eyes tend to catch the slightly lighter color of the tail section. A...
  5. Assigment #1 - Soren (Biolund)

1.What makes it an effective image? I love this shot!!! It is effective because you are immediately drawn to the clownfish (subject). There is a lot of humor in this shot and I smile every time I see it. The fact that is has adopted a hammer coral and also the look on his/hers face is...

Excellent photographs Steve. It looks like you are well on the way to professional looking shots. I like the dottyback shot. Very dramatic and interesting. Boy that fish looks like he/she has a lot of attitude!!

The photos are attached - not linked. Should I link them instead? Chris thanks for all the good information about lenses I researched the 60 mm Nikkor lens today. 10. IslandCrow Introduction & Photos

Your photos are really great. My favorite is the mystery wrasse looking like he is trying to imitate a piece of macro algae. The closeup of the ricordias is very nice too.
