- I've had 2 tropical freshwater tanks for years, 30 gallon with red serpae hi-fin tetras, black phantom hi-fin tetras, otocinclus catfish and a 10 gallon with beckford's pencilfish. I have been dreaming about a reef tank for years, yesterday I bought a 125 gallon tank, stand & equipment used and now I'm dreaming (panicing ?!?) about what to do next :-)
