Ordered a 3 light retrofit from helolights for $159 plus the bulbs, shipping was only 16 bucks. Previous deal was a 2 light kit for 205 plus 45 bucks to ship. That kind of shipping is just another way to hide the "real " price. Thanks for the help

I put a dozen nassarius (sp) in my 75 gal fowlr tank and my blue watchman goby will not leave them alone, keeps taking them into his hidey hole. Is he capable of eating them?

will LR seed a sandbed or does it actually take some live sand? If it takes live sand, how much? I've been converting to a FOWLR setup and currently have 60# of LR and 70# of argamax. I add a little more rock and sand each month as it is an established tank.

Does anyone know if southdown/oldcastle is available in louisiana? Checked my local home depot and they don't carry it.

My sandbed is currently about 3" in the back of the tank sloping to about 1 1/2" in the front. so far their are 12 dwarf blue legs and 12 nassarius.

It appears that I have a large number of new feather duster/fan worms on my live rock-should i be adding some type of supplement to the tank to help them along? Currently i add nothing extra to the tank

I live about 2 hours south of shreveport on a lake called toledo bend. My wife has a dr's appt tomorrow (baby on the way) so i thought i would look while i was there.

Does anyone know of a local fish store in Shreveport,La? Need some live rock and since i have to be in shreveport tomorrow anyway i thought i would look there.

tap right now with plans for an RO/DI sometime in the next 8 weeks or so. I want to make sure that i have enough live rock in the tank before i remove the bio balls thats why im doing it slowly, i figure once i have 30-40# of LR i should be able to start removing the bio balls
