How to make sure that they do not starve once they are done? Also, how would they fare with pistol, coral banded and skunk shrimps? Just want to be careful... And of course, I also have two nice sized sand stirring starfish I would like to keep
  2. Asterina control

i have quite an invasion of these critters who are happily devouring all coralline and, I believe, the flesh of some corals - I do not want to get an Harlequin shrimp as I am afriad it would starve after a few months - My LFS suggested a Four Spot Wrasse (Halichoeres leucoxanthus) - Sny other...

  12. Dying Serpent Sea Star

Agree - Spooky part is that the arms are moving in a somewhat coordinated fashion... Do Serpent Start have a distributed brain?
  13. Dying Serpent Sea Star

The core/center seems empty and fish have been snacking on it - Arms are moving - Is it alive or dead?
  14. Is my BTA dead

That's what i figured - Hence the move to QT
  15. Is my BTA dead

Flesh stated to decay earlier today - Moved it to a small 10 gal quarantine tank - Foot starting to disintegrate... I have two pistol shrimps that I can only see at night (mostly hiding in the live rock) and a peppermint shrimp - Everything else in the tank is doing great: A mated false...
