  2. Petition to List 83 Species of Corals as Threatened/Endanger

One of the real problems with this legislation is that it regulates interstate shipping of all affected corals. Many of the Acropora listed therein are readily propagated within the coral farming and aquaculture trade. How will these regulations affect the "fragging" of acropora and subsequent...

    http://frag.masvc.org It's time for MASVC's Second Annual F.R.A.G. Swap! 5. Centropyge multicolor

I had one, was a pig. Very very hardy, also very aggressive. Never touched a coral (But as with all angelfish it is a gamble)
  6. crosshatch

Slightly off topic, but I have a "male" blue jaw. He was at one point very "male" looking but since has lost most of his blue jaw and the yellow around the fins has turned to a reddish brown. Is this typical of males without females, or has the fish reverted sexes and gone female like some...

  12. Running Kalkwasser & Calcium reactors in tandem

I specifically made a reactor for Kalk. I basically followed some directions found in a thread on reef-l, sorry dont remember who posted it or the website. I used a 5 gal bucket, a 3/4" p-trap and whala...i had a reactor. Very simple and I use my autodoser as my mixer so it keeps it real...
  13. Running Kalkwasser & Calcium reactors in tandem

I run a precision marine reactor and a Kalk doser in tandem. They are hands down awesome. I pass all my top off through the kalk reactor while still getting the benefits of the ca reactor. Reefmon is right that you get all the benefits of both this way. I wouldnt run my tank any other way...
  14. DC/MD live rock sale July 4th

Seriously, KBY, If you get on their mailing list you get great shots at wonderful sales and you know when they get their shipments. They are hands down the best store around. I can only think of one that might compete in Baltimore and it is still a ways off ( not the aquarium center btw )...
