i have read a lot of msgs about these shrimp. what are they good for? are they hardy scavengers that will last in my reef tank?

i have no prob with my xenias...in fact i constantly have to cut and move them because they spread too fast. I even have one growing on my glass. I do water changes every week and add the basic in terms of supplements.

i just purchased a red angler...he's about 2 in. long and turns colors from red to black then back to red, etc... i have him in my 5 gal. desk tank just to observe him and feed him. According to the guy i bought him from, he needs to eat regularly and must be fed live food. My 20 gal. reef is...

my green star pollups wont come out....any suggestions? i heard that they heavily rely on calcium...true?
