I have no idea if I have read the article you are referring to or not. I don't know what "C...." stands for. If you could post a link or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. I've been looking for proof for a very long time and simply can not find it.
I do not...
Yes. There is something that needs to be said. There are countless accounts of people being successful with species other than quadracolor and magnifica, which is why I emailed Dr. Fautin in the first place, but no proof. We have case, after case, after case of this resulting in a dead...
There's a growing belief in the hobby that cutting any host anemone in two is a viable means of propagation. This had me very concerned, so I e-mailed Dr. Daphne Fautin. Here's what she had to say.
"To prevent taking animals from the wild, some well-intentioned people propose cutting sea...
I have one in a 29gl tank. I've had him for about 2 years. He is the only fish in the tank and the tank is plumed to a 55gl refuge. He's always fat and happy.

I assume you are talking about the protozoan statement, correct?
I have been working on the issues surrounding the Elegance coral problem for about the past year and a half. The scientific community is telling everyone that it is caused by protozoans, bacteria, fungus, and even something...
I have no idea then. I have been using Kalk for at least 15 years and I have never seen one gallon mixed in 185 gallons over 2 days raise the calcium that much. Hopefully someone else here can figure it out.
No it doesn't drip. The valve is there so that I can full the container in place. I just close the valve and open the top. After filling and closing the top I open the valve back up. The bottom of the pipe is at the water line. As water evaporates it releases a few drops of kalk to replace...
Unfortunately most calcium tests aren't all that accurate. What brand of test kit are you using.
You can check out the thread in this forum called "dumb question that needs answering" I posted pics of how I dose my kalk in that thread.
