    thanks all for your advice , I dont mind tinkering with the equipment all part of this hobby , best way to learn ... The room will be at a constant temperature, so the 300w shouldnt be a problem in regard to return pumps what do you guys recomend , how often should the water be recylced?? cheers

    thanks Len for your advice The height of the sump is 18 inches high , the width would be around 18cm, may be worth getting a hang on skimmer ? Is there any problems in having the heater placed in the same section as the skimmer?? i have planned to only have two bends in the plumbing so...
