I increased my sandbed depth from approx. 1" to 4". I used a tupperware box to add the sand. All I did was add the sand, lowered it to the bottom of the tank & emptied it out slowly. It created a sandstorm, but it cleared up within 2 days. I think you will be really happy with the sandbed...

They eat like pigs when I feed them Formula 2 flake food. I tried the unflavored nori, but they didn't like it. I will try soaking it in garlic, though, to see if that will interest them!
