Just a guess, it could be some type of flatworm. I had something like that happen to me before. I think it may have had something to do with my old bulbs, because after I changed them they went away.

So, if I supplement VHO actinic I should go with 10K's, not 20K's, right? Do you have any suggestions on the brand of bulbs and ballast?

Tank dimensions are approx. 120"x30"x36". I was planning on using 4x400W. I read that growth with only 20K radiums may not be as good as with 10K's? Is that true?

I am setting up a tank with mostly SPS. What lighting would you choose (400 Watt)? The PFO HQI Ballast with the 20K Radium Bulbs (no actinic), Ice Cap ballast with 20K Radium (no actinic) or some setup with 10K Bulbs plus actinic (either FL or PC).

I was planning on 4x400w hqi for my new tank (about 450G). So, I am curious what kind/brand ballast you would use and why. Also, if you think there is a better set-up, I'd like to hear about that, too.

Coralshrimp, when you say "depending on your source", do you mean depending on the water quality you have available? If so, how do you know the quality of your source?

Can anybody explain me why (or if) a RO/DI water purifier is better than just an RO Unit? What does Reverse Osmosis accomplish? What does the Deionization accomplish?

Just another thing I have noticed that might help you guys help me: I have several colors of discosoma and it seems that only the GREEN colored ones are shriveled up. The Red, Orange, Blue and Green Wagonwheel colored look normal. Also, I have had some flatworms before, but now I have a S@#%load.
