I just realized the IC board in my 300w WON heater was cooked, literally. Since I'm using an Aqua Logic Temp controller anyway I was wondering if I could attach a plug directly to the element cord. Bypassing all the circuitry. Any thoughts?

You've inspired me to give it a try. My clowns laid eggs three days ago. I did some reading on what it takes. It seems like a lot of work, but after seeing your pics and clips I think I'll try. Do you know any links that might help me out?
