1. He has had my list for some time. Everything that he has delivered has been in great condition. He installed a U/V sterilizer and there has been no sign of ich.

1. If it works for Queens, great; however, there is another side of the market.
2. I am not aware of anyone waiting outside in the cold. There (to my knowledge) has been enough room in the store for everyone that wanted to wait to wait.

The crowd could still be there for the 11 am "sale" open to move inventory. I (and I suspect others) would gladly pay regular prices to buy before/avoid the crowd.
odigo90... I am pleased to hear that you had a good experience.
There is no way the massive crowd I experienced could be handled by his staff in 10-15 minutes. I can only assume that this year's crowd (perhaps due to a new location) was much smaller in size and it will grow in the future.

I went to Ralph's Black Friday sale once and will never return. It was operated by the "honor system". They gave you a ticket with a number, called out numbers in order and serviced whoever claimed they had that number (they never checked to see if the person actually had the ticket). Result...
