Can we use rain water for SW tanks. I have a 29 gal reef tank and was wandering if rain water is ok to use for top-off and water changes?

My little goby is playing in anemene. Is this normal? Also, camel back shrimp likes to stay around it. What is up.

Hello again My tank is only a 29gal. My crab, since first found about a month ago, has shed 3 times and seems to get larger by the day. In my tank I have damsels(3), manderine gobys(2), camel shrimp(1), goby (1) very small, hermit crabs, brittle star, chocolate chip star, anenomies, mushroom...

I have a crab that looks just like your. I too would like to know what it is. I don't seem to have any problems with it killing anything in tank, and he is doing a great job a cleaning up LR in tank. Hope we get someone to ID this crab.

I just got a very small mushroom. What do I need to do to keep them alive and well? Food? Additives? Also, How or will they multiply? Thanks Harry

I have a 29gal tank. Measures approx 30X13X18. What would be my best choice for water movement in this. I have a maxi-jet 1000 now and it makes to much current. Has anyone else set-up this size tank and what have you used? Thanks Harry

Just bought two of these guys/girls one is on the bottem at location that I put in tank. The other will not anchor to the bottem and gets moved around by pumps for current. Any ideas?

Water has been tested using three (3) different kits. I know that is not problem.

My PH is too high. At 9.0+ it is way over 8.3 that it need to be. Anyone know how to get it down where it needs to be?

I added this guy/girl on Thur Sept. 20, 2001. It is not doing any moving exept for tips of legs up and down. Is this normal or did I do something wrong.
