I haven't yet gotten this rock. I don't have it in my pond/garden, I'm going to go get some pieces from a pond/garden store. I'm not sure about pollutants. What kinda medication could / should I do to it?
Is there anything I need to do to the rock besides clean it realy good? I have some LR that I have fully cured and I want to add some Texas Holey into the mix. 8)
Maybe just do a shroom tank or something. This was just a little idea I had, not going to be my main tank. Is there a DIY website that would show me how to cram that 65w in there? I am curious of how I would do that. I would like to get the 96w too, but I think it is too wide to fit on the...

Ok, I have this POS Eclipse1 hood sitting around and I want to do something with it. I bought a 10L tank and I figure it is so shallow that if I could even get 30w or so of lighting into this hood, then I could keep something in it. Any suggestions?
May be some what of an odd question, but does it help corals and such to be kept in an area where they get a lot of sunlight in addition to the light they are already getting? Does that make any sense?
I have 8 or 9 snails(mostly turbos) in my 20h FO tank. I'm about to begin a reef in a 24g Nano. Should I leave out some of the snails or does in realy matter? I'm also putting in my lawnmower blenny, yellow tail dam, and false perc.
I understand that this will limit what I will be able to keep, but I'm not prepared to keep SPS or anemones (even though my LFS told me I could keep some anemones(they keep thiers under relatively weak light)). This is just my baby step into the hobby. Once I am out of college and have a real...
