Thanks. Another question. Do you guys think that 2 150watts MH bulb is an overkill on my setup or just enough? And will the animals that I mentioned will still thrive under these lighting? how about 2 70watts?

G'day all, I was wonderin' what you guys would recommend for a lighting setup for an 80g with a height of 20" and with 5" DSB. Im planning to keep mushrooms, zoanthids, leathers, and some lps. At least the minimum lighting so that these animals will thrive.

Is it possible to use just one ballast for two metal halides? Let's say I have a 150watts ballast, can I use 2-75watts halides on it at the same time? Please advice.

Thanks Guys! I know it sounds crazy and I thought to my self, is it just me or something else. But I did it a couple of times and looked carefully on the hydrometer, no sign of anything whatsoever. Hmm... I'll look again when I get home. Salt crust maybe, poor water circulation possibly...

My problem is... Why am I not getting the same reading on my hydrometer with my tank and my sump. Water flows through both of them so they suppose to have the same reading. I always get a higher reading from my sump than my tank. Temparature is the same. Tank is 80g and sumps is 30g. Average...
