    Actually, It's taken a turn for the worse in the last couple weeks. Not sure what's wrong with it, but it wasn't looking it's best when that picture was taken, and now it is looking even worse. In fact, there is a section where the tissue has become detached from the rest. I hope it survives...

    Was under the impression it was a "nitrate factory", and therefore was bad for reef tanks. I think I have enough LS & LR to take care of my biological filtration needs. Thank you, Mike

    It's been going for a couple of months with the bio bale installed with only the rare bubble coming from the output, but only about 8 hours now since I took the bio bale out. It's driving me crazy all these bubbles in my tank. Thank you, Mike
