  1. no sump - water polishing

    I blow off my rocks at least once a week. Also stir my sand monthly to minimize detritus buildup.
  2. Bubble algae and rabbitfish

    Recently acquired a Red Sea Sailfin who went nuts for the stuff. Also a great gardner, eats red filamentous and macro algaes. The books say they could eat bubble algae, I guess I got lucky.
  3. large bristleworm

    Get rid of him, they get extremley large. You probably have more of these in your tank. As you said they come in with live rock or frags. Neon dottybacks and spider crabs are known to eat these.
  4. Chiller questions

    I recently added a chiller to my 46gal bow and all of the chillers I researched required an external pump. I have a 1/8 hp AquaMedic with a Mag 5. My Mag is external to the tank which could be a bad thing after reading some reviews on them. Word is they tend to leak. I have had no problems...
