There was a point when it took a few minutes (literally) to find a IT job for a senior guy. But these days there just isn't anything but junk jobs. Yes there is a huge IT market here, we are a corporate HQ hot spot, AMEX, Wellsfargo, Intel (not the HQ but big none the less), Motorola, etc, etc...

I am not too sure about the IT in the area. I know there is a service company up there that serves the schools districts, but that is mostly PC tech type work. It sounds like you are more of senior guy, i.e. there isn't going to be anything in the state that will replace your current salary...
