    SO u r saying its not a reef if it is neglected for a little while?? It's been a reef since I converted it over 6 years ago. So it is that old... This is a trivial argument anyways. Thanks for the id Fishman

    This guy just recently came out of a small piece of live rock I have had in my tank for several years. Any idea on the species? It has a yellow to transparent brown body/foot color clear tenticals with tan circles on the ends

    Red planeria flatworms. Recently had the same problem. You can use a product called prazi pro. It will kill almost any worm in the system and is completely safe for fish and coral

    Ps. It was a maroon clown, he liked the bubble tip better than anything else I tried.

    Agree, very aggressive. In my experience I bought a bubble tip anemone for my clown and that kept him close to that area of the tank. Make sure they have their own anemone and separate them as far as possible just to be sure! Good luck

    I didn't lie... The tank is that old. It has been through many ups and downs. When I was away trace minerals and calcium were rarely added. Thus little purple algae and coral growth, not to mention my stepdad removing my live rock and scrubbing it... I'm surprised this tank is doing as well as...

    I want to know the lighting requirements as I would like it to grow and spread as rapidly as possible. My polyps in general have little success...any suggestions? Also attached is a pic of my tank!
