thanks, that helps a lot. i wasn't totally sure on how the refugium tied into the sump but that clears up a lot.

I am looking to setup a 65 or 75 gallon reef in the next month or so. My roommate is running a 90 gal. right now with a euroreef skimmer in the sump but no refugium. Its doing good but i would like the extra filtration and water volume added with a refugium. Any suggestions on a good setup...
