Just was interested in setting up a water change with the apex dos .Has anyone set it up to do so 1.) how long you been doing it? 2.) are you satisfied ? 3.) do you use the new quiet dos? 4.) does it effect your ATO ? Please show a pic or 2 thanks

What I used to do was when I saw algae growing I would use my fingers with some filter floss .Yeah still can’t get over green fuzz growing over and between the seam, but I bought a 40 gallon breeder and building a stand for the transfer this weekend and as much as I like how rimless tanks look...

Timfish…..I’ve always stayed away from using razors by the seams and if you see my tanks you would laugh ….clean glass but algea on the seams looking like corners w/ hair growing….non reefers like that thinking that’s nice , not knowing that’s a reefer pet peeve to have it as a distraction . ha...

Yeah , it’s a shame . RedSea has some of the most beautiful setups out there , but their reliability sucks maybe they need to use better silicone, start euro bracing and maybe stop with the front glass floating with no support,
