    Xenia's love light. If your tank has MH, i'm sure they will explode. I have very strong lighting and the xenias eventually grew up the back wall and almost covered the glass. If you place them near the top the stalks get thicker. Low placement sometimes results in longer stems. I have also...

    I'm trying to get rid of the smell quickly - I'm doing daily water changes with carbon. Any other ideas? I realize I will need to be cautious about when to restock.

    I live in Western New York and jsut suffered the largest snow storm in history that left me 10 days without electric power. My 125g reef tank has been destroyed after 4 years of meticulous care. The smell is out of this world. I'm open to any suggestions, ideas, etc. :cry: P.S. Power...

  8. Anyone seen candycane like these?

    Yeup, I have the same color. Check them out at night under a moon light effect if you can. Hundreds of little hairs pop out at night for filter feeding. Pretty cool little things.

  11. Sinularia flexibis - Spaghetti Leather

    I have three pieces of Sinularia flexibis on one rock. Two small and one large. What's the easiest way to spilt this from the rock - without damaging the rock? Is cutting it off at the base a bad idea? Thanks to all in advance.
