During Fall, when leaves start dropping. I put a clear plastic tarp over my pond when I'm not enjoying my fish, to minimize the amount of leaves and needles from my neighbor's trees. Maybe something to think about when/if you redo your pond.

Hi OverTime, yes I?ve decided to reduce my herd this year. Mostly Bekko butterfly and a few Matusba koi. I?ll post some pics when I separate them out.

Greetings everyone! I'm new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself and share my pond pics. I took these this morning. Started up my filter last weekend and so happy how clear the water has gotten. Really excited, water temp is almost 50 degrees, so I might be able to start feeding soon!
