Yeah, it scrapes off without too much effort. Just sort of disintegrates and floats away...

Uh, maybe. I'm not sure if I would call it fuzzy. But there is def a thin/translucent layer on the surface of it that covers most of the patch.

What do we have here? New tank with some live rock from an established tank. These pink patches have been spreading very quickly in the last week, they are ALL OVER. At first I thought it was new coralline algae but it looks different. i.imgur.com/Reb0Lbj.jpg

Newbie to the hobby looking for 20-30 lbs of live rock for my first FOWLR. Prices seem outrageous online, so I figured I would check here to see if anyone has any extra. Also, first post. This seems like a really cool board.
