DE is NOT an option. Keep in mind this tank is only 12" tall. Dont want to fry everythign, and i think 400w wouuld do that.

I am setting up a prop tank that will be 36"Lx16"wx12"h. I plan on growing out some rics shroom, candy canes and zoos. My question is should I go witth a 250w or 150w 24" SE MH fixture. I also want to have the option to prop some sps in the future. Any suggestions would be nice.

Some type of sponge i assume...its about an inch round and is growing under my candycane coral with zoos growing on its skeleton.
