  2. SHOW ROCK

your other option is of course to buy some aquarium epoxy, conveniently colored pink or purple some times, and epoxy together several medium sized pieces. this way you can fit them together to make caves, and you can make sure that your newly created show pieces will fit together in the tank...

  9. help for a sump newbie

if your stand is tall enough, you can easily construct a fuge to sit above your main sump. by adding ashelf, or putting the fuge on supports, or by stacking it on top of your sump, you can tee off of your main return line with a t, then place a ball valve to restrict flow from the main return...
  10. How would you build the perfect refugium

my idea refugium would be mounted above the tank. water would be pumped up to it from the sump via a T and ball valve off of my main return line. This would enter in the refuge from the top with a spray bar that had a couple directional nozzles so that a light current could be set up, perhapse...
  11. 55 Gallon Sump, Check it out.......

i imagine the reason that all of the water isnt being dumped into the area labeled rock is that that is serving as a fuge, in which case you absolutely do now want all of your water flowing into it, you would have way to much current.
