Ninnybone, I had the same thing. What are your nitrates at? A partial water change wiith RO and if you don't have a fuge consider one. After 2 weeks mine has all but gone and now the coraline is taking off.

Did you get the Red Tang Heaven to grow? If so what temp is the water or what do I ned to know. I just use my fuge to store it and feed it to the ever-hungry tangs.

Yes! On the advice of Bealsbob, I attempted to scrub it off and it didn't budge. I am uncertain of how it got in the tank as I have only added some macro algae to the fuge. There was certainly no growth on this rock 3 weeks ago with the exception of some brown algae.
