I just bought a new Alkalinity test made by Salifert with an expiration of 2012 and i am getting a higher than 16 kh is this even possible. I dont add any buffers for alkalinity only have a calcium reactor running. ph in tank is roughly 8.2 and temp is set at 76 to 77 tank is realativly new...
