  1. What's going on here?

Wow! We have come up a bit over the last month, but are still under $3.00/gal. in NE.
  2. What's going on here?

It's a shame. Would like to see some more industry discussion here. We have been slower than normal in our retail shop this year, but crazy busy with service work. Wondering if it is weather related up here in the NE area? Snow has been unreal and the cold has been a big problem. With the...
  3. What's going on here?

Is "the sump" activity industry related?
  4. What's going on here?

Been wondering the same thing. Business has been really good for us lately (knock on wood :D !) Would be nice to see more chatter on here for sure. Not seeing much chatter anywhere other than just "buy/sell/trade" stuff on the local hobby forums. BTW, thank you for sending us nice stock...
  5. Anyone Dealing With Exotic Sealife International?

As the title says. I am curious to see what others experiences are with this company. Been dealing with them for awhile now and feel like service has gone way downhill.
  6. How Is Business In Your Area?

Yes, it has been the busiest I've seen so far this month here as well. Pleased to see it! There has been a dip in freshwater sales though. Any thoughts?
  7. How Is Business In Your Area?

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense I guess. I was just surprised to see it drop off as dramatically as it did, never seen that before.
  8. How Is Business In Your Area?

Just a general question for you all. We had been buzzing along pretty good for the past few month and had a reasonable black Friday, but then hit a brick wall since Friday. Anyone else notice a similar drop off? Curious to see your thoughts, experiences.
  9. Using RO/DI on your freshwaer systems?

I think that's the best way to go. Can even set it up for basically a constant water change system if you can keep it warm enough on a large system. I think that we are lucky to have our rejection TDS come out just about right :)
  10. Using RO/DI on your freshwaer systems?

In my store we use the rejection water from the RO/DI system for our FW systems. TDS comes out at about 100 to 125 on average. The wasted water from the RO/DI is run to a res. and used for other things too like the washing machine and deep sink. Works very well for our FW stock.
