Update: Neptune Apex, Tank Lid, Neptune FMM, Hannah Calcium Checker have been sold.

You attach it to the faucet and when you turn the water on it drains out the bottom of the python adapter and creates suction to pull water from the tank. Tap water never goes into the tube or your tank. That's the best I can explain it. Can probably youtube it as well.
