I use the square-pin 10K and 03 bulbs from Hellolights. I have been real happy with them. They last about 10 months, aren't ridiculously expensive, and I get decent soft coral growth.

Hi all, I have a 90 gal tank with 384 watts of PC lighting, a rio3100 and an EV-120 with a mag5. My kilowatt hours used are ~650-750. This is almost double my bill when I used to have a plain NO freshwater tank! Is this in line with other peoples' kwh usage or is someone stealing my juice!? Nick

I am thinking of getting the aquaC EV-120 - I think this would be a definite benefit to the system since the skimming seems to be the weak link in my system. Does anyone have any feedback on this model? would a skimmer change make that big a difference? Any thoughts on my setup? Thanks. Nick
