Sorry, forgot to answer to the clicking sound, never eared any noise from the tank, and nothing has moved ( small rocks or anything else). So I don't think it's a mantis shrimp. Thanks again Debbie

I found info on the manufaturer's site, they say to replace the bulb and chamber once a year. Also to clean the quartz reactor. So Now I have to find a local store to get the bulb. Thank you all for the answers. Paf

Thank you lfc 5 times, I'll take it apart tonight and see. The book only gives instructions on how to replace it. It ran 24/7 all last summer, so possibly it's burnt. I'll let you know after tonight. Paf
