I have a Aqua Logic (or may be called a Delta Star depending on were you get it from) 1/6 hp. It's on a 50gal. tank with a 250 MH and 2 PCs. I live in an older mobil home in S.California. It can get realy hot in here, 90 deg. F +. In fact the heater only comes on just a few times in the winter...
I have my Frog Spawn right under a 250w MH. At the top of my reef, about 4 to 5 inches under the water. The light is about 8 inches above the water. It seems to really like it there. It's been there for over a year now and is doing great. :lol: Hope this helps.
Has anyone had a Copperband Butterfly eat their Zoanthids or Palythoas ? I ask because I have a lot of Aiptasia in my tank and I'm thinking of putting one in to control it. Just about everyone I've talked to say's not a problem. But one person told me that when it got done with all the Aiptasia...
I've been told that Six Line Wrasses will out compete the Mandarins. They will eat the same pods and worms that the Mandarins eat and they'er a lot faster.
Don't get glue on the Mushrooms. They will let go. Just put the glue on the rock. I've moved Mushrooms around and made Mushroom rocks and it works great.
I tryed greenex, don't bother. :( It worked ok at first didn't see any flat worms after using it ( and boy I had a lot ). But I must not have got them all. They'er back with avengeance. I may have made super worms. :( I'm going to try some animals that should eat them. Good luck.
