Mine pulse after lights out (just checked) but don't seem to be as fully open as during the day.

I get $10 store credit for my Xenia elongata. Typically each rock has about 3 or 4 stalks. The LFS sells them for somewhere between $50 - $60, as I recall. Incidentally, I get the same price for colt, which takes considerably longer to cultivate then Xenia.
