I love my Kole. They are said to be rather shy, but mine has alot of personality and keeps the tank very clean. I also was thinking about getting a chevron, but the color change made me think about the cheaper alternative, and just settle for the Kole.

Any use wavemakers to control their powerheads? What brand/models do you use. I'm looking to pick on up and was wondering if anyone had any issues pros/cons to help me in my research. Thanks

I've been using the sailfert test kits. I'm a little confused on how to be accurate with it though. Do you stop added drops of the reactor liquid when it first starts to change color or when it is totally blue(not still purplish) or vice versa for the alk test?

that's very interesting theory on the weather changes. I live in Indianapolis and we did have a front come in thrusday and the temperature dropped like 20 degrees. It is operated like normal now. Thanks for the commets. I'll let you know if it acts up again.

I found another smaller one munching on the base of my colt coral. In an effort to save my colt, I sliced him into 3 pieces and removed both slugs. I'll try to post some more pics later.

I found this slug like creature underneath this rock. I found it because I noticeed my colt coral had been deflated for a few days. THe base of the colt is white and looks damaged. Was this slug the cause of my coral's tissue loss? The slug looks very spongy at the perimeter of the animal. It...
