When you have a firm opinion of the Kent Marine anitparasite medication would you drop me a message? I am always interested in treatments that work or do not work.
This way if this occurs to someone else we can share the knowledge wealth among each other.
Best of luck to you.

Sorry for the problem there but even if you had a QT the ick is now in your "show" tank. Like many others I have been there too.
If you do not have corals or inverts simply go quickly to hyposalinity for 40 days at about 1.01. Then take at least 10 days of raising your salinity back to normal...
I would like to thank each and every person involved here in making your wallpapers available and of course free!
Well done and keep it up as I change my wallpaper as often as I change my ..... sox.
I was not sure and was hoping someone would comment about testing there. The tank is 60" long rectangular shape. The anemone was only because I have plans for a couple of clown fish. Nothing is cast in stone at the moment.
So I have decided to convert my fowler to a reef. Correct me if I am wrong on the following minimum criteria:
lighting - 5-7 WPG range
flow - 10 to 15 times the tank volume (2 or more pumps)
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 0.0-30 ppm
pH: between 8.1 and 8.4 (aim for 8.2)
Alkaline...
Your 100% correct the yeild (plastic distortion) in glass is virtually 0. Actually it was a feeble attempt to prove it is most likely an optical illusion. The more physical facts a person has allows them to rule out other possible factors and theories. As you say since glass allows...
There are a number of ways to check to see if this nothing more than an otical illusion or if in fact the tank is bowing.
1. Make a simple plumb-bob with a piece of string and a small weight on it and dangle from the top of each corner - while the tank is empty. Assuming your tank is...
Or simply to to Home Depot or Lowes. Go to the hardware/cabinetry ailse and purchase some durable plastic door bumpers. They come in several different thinknesses and shapes. Peel off the adhesive backing and stick to the underside of the piece of equipment your trying to dampen.
I would hesitate moving the stand and a sump with sand. Since you seem concerned that is reason enough to me. However, if your stand's bottom is made of something like 3/4" Plywood (18mm) and is screwed into the sides then no problem. But for my recommendation take out everything you can to...
Thanks for the input Bleeding.... this is exactly the thought provoking answer I was looking for. I am prone to glass tanks rather than acrylic.
My consideration is to search garage sales for a 100 gal to utilize as the sump and refug. Your closed loop versus open loop is giving a reason...
