UPS is not GFI.
Without a GFI circuit between your breaker and your UPS...it means once you get electrical shock and even if someone shut off the breaker, you still keep getting shocked. Ouch!
I agree.
GFI is used to protect you (a electrical path to the mother Earth) from being toasted when one of your trusty electical equipment leaks.
It could happen in many ways. i.e. rocks fall and cut wires, pump seal leaks. Do youself a favour, get it 8)
I asked a electrician to install...
Due to a slow die-off of my 6 month-old Pagoda, I decide to frag it and epoxy them on small pieces of rocks.
I used a srew driver and a hammer on it.
No can do. It did not give in a bit 8O . Trust me, I hammered it hard. I can only chip away a small bit of it.
Finally, I got it to...
I use my Rio2100 as a sump return pump for a 65G tank. It pushes a height of 5 foot from sump to tank. This pump has been great for the pass 4 years.
Recentlly, it refuse to start everytime I turn it off to do my water changes. I will need to give it a good shake or sometime has to take it...
WC is in its way...
I did some test using my Seachem kit and Ho Ray! pH is only 7.9!
What should I do now? What could cause such a low pH?
PH=7.9 8O
SG=1.023(DeepSix), 1.020(Hydrometer)
Ca=400ppm
dKH=3.5mq/L
PO4=0.07ppm
Amo/Nitrate/Nitrite=NIL
OK, I'll do a WG of 10G tonight.
I heard some people would dip the coral in RO water. Would you suggest this?
If I had to frag it, do I need to seal the broke-off area?
Thanks.
p.s. Did you see my pic is the above post?
