Either the "Simple As Pie Euro-Reef" or the skimmer listed in Anthony Calfo's BofCP are both easy, DIY style skimmers. And in the true DIY fashion, you've got to throw a little of your own design elements to make it "yours."

Yep- And, it's adding stray currents to your system. Make sure to ground it.

All snail reproduction is limited by available resources. If you can control the amount of unicellular algae building on the sides of your glass & rock, you can therefore prevent any single animal from over-inhabiting. Or you could borrow a puffer ;)

Tang Heaven <Graciliara Sp?> has been helpful with my yellow tang's health. He had slight HLLE when he was donated to me, now he's robust and colorful.
