    Thank you for the only intelligent response on this post. Dried blood lacks some of the nutritive value, and, especially, the particle size which I find attractive, as the cells are no longer intact.

    Anyone using blood as a food source for corals and clams? If so, from which animals, any concerns with pathogens that can effect marine animals, and can it be frozen/thawed effectively or does it need to be fresh?
